Longtable Beer Cafe is a combination cafe, bottle shop and tasting room, located in Downtown Middleton which offers a communal experience in craft beer and food. One of the things we have loved most about the craft beer world in the fifteen years we owned Brasserie V in Madison and now over seven years at Longtable is the sharing aspect of this culture; craft beer brings people together with bottle shares and connecting over a pour. To bring this concept to life, Longtable offers a selection of 300 craft beers in a self-serve open cooler, along with 12 rotating taps.
Our focus is on bottles, with self-serve open coolers offering 300 brews. Beers can be purchased to take home or enjoy at our communal tables, and we encourage you to put together a pack for sharing. The bottle selection is complemented by 12 rotating taps with all beers available in short and long pours.

The food, atmosphere, & service was so so amazing!! I got the BBQ Frites & the Strawberry Shortcake and I think it has to be the BEST things on the menu. It was so so yummy! I have to give an extra paragraph for the Strawberry Shortcake! If you like desserts that aren't super super sweet and has that freshness from REAL strawberries you have to try this! You'll thank me later! It's the best dessert I've gotten from a restaurant in a long time!
The fish and chips will knock your socks off - the fish is cooked to perfection and the accompanying frites are fantastic as well. The appetizers are also amazing, especially the goat cheese puffs - picture a wonton but somehow even MORE delicious.
We enjoyed the food and beer at Longtable as usual. They have a great selection of craft brews and delicious food made from locally sourced ingredients. A pleasant setting with outdoor tables and an open indoor area. Great, friendly service.
The space is great! You can see it was decorated with great attention to detail. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable, they will answer any questions you might have. The food was good. I had the pretzel and frites. I enjoyed both, but I wish I got a bit more dips with it. I will make sure to come back soon :)
