Our friends at Giant Jones Brewing have released their first-ever Belgian-style quad, and we want to celebrate! We were pumped when Jessica let us know she would be brewing this beer. If you know us, you know Belgian quads have been one of our (ie Matt’s) favorite styles for many years, which is why you will always find St. Bernardus Abt 12 on tap and a variety of options in our cooler.
Jessica and Erika will both join us for the evening to share their passion and knowledge of this new beer. They will share stories of the inspiration and brewing process – if you’ve met either of them, you know their stories never fail to entertain.
We will be offering a quad flight of Quads in 5oz pours:
· Giant Jones Quadrupel: Rich Munich malts pair with Belgian yeast creating a depth of dark fruit and spice with a smooth alcohol note and dry finish.
· St. Bernardus Abt 12: Belgian quad. Smooth, creamy and full bodied with big richness of texture that is almost oily and very assertive, like a warming coconut brandy.
· Chimay Grand Reserve (Blue): Dark Trappist beer. Begins with a light sweet note. Creamy caramel, soft mocha, combine with an intense spicy taste and a candied fruit finish.
· La Trappe Quadrupel: Belgian quad. The aroma of clover and nuts are balanced by the sweet aromas of vanilla, raisins and banana, with sweet tones of dates and caramel.
We will also be giving away some Giant Jones glassware and stickers.
If you love quads, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
