Pre-Great Taste Party w/Good City Brewing and Perennial Artisan Ales

Join us on Friday, August 9th, as we kick of Great Taste weekend featuring beers from our friends at Good City Brewing and Perennial Artisan Ales. We will kick off festivities with everything pouring when we open at 11am. Folks from both breweries will be in and out during the day/eve, so say hi and feel free to ask any questions about their great brews and what they have going at the breweries! Will be a fun day, so pop in anytime day or eve to enjoy some cool brews!
Good City Here lineup:
Spare Time – DDH Hazy IPA – 5.4% abv
Crushable with a juicy and citrusy flavor profile boasting flavors of orange/tangerine and pineapple, peach, sweet lemonade, and mango.
Reward – Double IPA – 8.5% abv
The bigger and very different brother of our Risk IPA. Reward features a dry malt profile and Citra, Amarillo and Eureka hops. The result is a dank hop aroma with tropical fruit and distinct pineapple character backed up with a floral/tangerine hop flavor.
Pils – 5.2% abv
A fresh take on a style that Milwaukee was built on. Brewed with classic Bohemian lager yeast and US Pils malt for a crisp, clean tone that is light-colored and light-bodied.
Leo – Belgian-style Wit – 5% abv
This Belgian style wheat showcases Hallertau Blanc hops, orange peel, and coriander for a decisive break from the Wisconsin cold. Embrace Summer.
Varietal: Amarillo – Belgian-style Pale Ale – 6% abv
Showcasing Amarillo hops, this Belgian-style pale ale lends flavors of lemon which shine alongside its spicy, fruity notes.
Rye-Barrel Lord Lyon – Rye-Barrel Aged Scotch Ale – 8.8% abv
The name and style says it all. What more do you need to know!
Lake Russ – Hazy IPA – 6.5% abv
A collab we cooked up with some old buds Shared by Side Project Brewing! We decided to use the same malt bill, ours a touch smaller than theirs, and we thoroughly dry hopped with equal parts Mosaic and Idaho 7. This IPA reminds us of dank orange juice.
Saison de Lis – Saison – 5% abv
Belgian-style Saison brewed with chamomile flowers. It is fermented with a traditional saison yeast strain that imparts fruity and spicy notes that dovetail perfectly with the tea-like quality of the chamomile. Finishes dry, tart, and refreshing.
Intentionally Indulgent – Imperial Stout – 11.5 % abv
Tiramisu-style Stout brewed with our best buds 2nd Shift Brewing! Inspired by the classic Italian dessert. Fermented on top of luscious chocolate sauce and steeped on cocoa nibs, vanilla beans & Sump Colombian coffee beans.
