Join us and our friends at Good City Brewing to kick off the Great Taste of the Midwest weekend. Starting at Noon, we will be pouring some cool stuff from this excellent Milwaukee brewery. Also, some of the brewers and staff will be on hand to chat about the beers and give out some schwag. Here are the beers we will be pouring:
Knob Creek Lord Lyon – A rare variant of the standard Lord Lyon Scotch Ale aged in Knob Creek Bourbon barrels.
Rye Barrel-Aged Lord Lyon – Scotch ale aged in Rye Whiskey barrels.
Salud – Tequila barrel aged Imperial Pilsner with lime peel, orange peel and lime puree
Detail – A classic Robust Porter with a clean and balanced roasted malt profile, right down the middle between chocolate and coffee-like.
Risk – Brewed with only pale ale malt for a very dry and cleanly malty undertone. Simcoe and Centennial hops lend a very balanced profile tending toward pine and citrus.
Reward – The bigger and very different brother of our Risk IPA, Reward features a dry malt profile and Citra, Amarillo and Eureka hops. The result is a dank hop aroma with tropical fruit and distinct pineapple character backed up with a floral/tangerine hop flavor.
Nomad – A Nomad and Good City collaboration celebrating the 2018 World Cup. Highly drinkable with tropical notes, this dry hopped Wheat Ale pairs perfectly with the balance and precision displayed on the pitch.
We will also have some package available to go of a few beers if want to take some with.
See you then. Cheers!
