New Belgium Brewing – It’s Winter Tappings!

01/22/2020 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us this Wednesday the 22nd as we celebrate winter with New Belgium Brewing out of Ft. Collings, Colorado. We will be tapping 4 cool brews, three of them new to their lineup, and one you will only see in the Madison area at Longtable!

New Belgium rep Claire will be on hand to give out some goodies and talk about the beers and what New Belgium has going on! She will be giving away two tickets for Skiing at Devil’s Head for the New Belgium event there on Saturday the 25th. There will be lots of fun events like a scavenger hunt, pig roast, New Belgium beers and more that day.

Here is the lineup for we will be pouring Wednesday evening:

New Belgium/TRVE Where I Live – Wild Ale
This is the only keg to make it to the Madison area of this special ale. Here is what they have to say about this special beer:
Where I Live is our return collab following TRVE’s version, Where I Leave. For this special beer with our buds from Denver, we brewed a base using 100% Colorado-grown malt from Troubadour Maltings and fermented it with a Norwegian Kveik yeast. That beer was blended with our dark sour and foeder-aged with TRVE’s house culture. Just before canning, the beer was finished with Colorado whole flower lavender. That’s right. A Norwegian-inspired, mixed culture sour ale brewed with local malt and local lavender that’s named after a song by a Flemish metal band. Enjoy.

Oakspire – Strong Ale
A limited-edition collaboration between New Belgium and Knob Creek, Oakspire is a unique bourbon barrel ale aged with bourbon-steeped oak spirals and char from inside the barrel. Smooth notes of toffee, vanilla and caramel wrap up with a pleasantly warm finish.

American Haze – Hazy Pale Ale
With notes of passionfruit and freedom, American Haze is a supremely drinkable, juicy and unfiltered IPA brewed with all-American hops.

Cold Brew Cream Ale – Coffee Cream Ale
A smooth, creamy, and refreshing coffee beer? Thanks to our friends at High Brew Coffee, that’s exactly what this beer is. We infused a cream ale with oats and High Brew’s cold brew for a velvety mouthfeel and refreshing finish that will have you wanting more!

So stop in the Wednesday and enjoy great beers and lively conversation! Cheers!
