American Solera Debut! – Specializing in Oak Barrel Aging

This Thursday the 5th, we are excited to welcome American Solera, out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Wisconsin! For those unfamiliar, here is a little bit about them:
“Solera – a system for aging sherry and other fortified wines, in which younger wines in upper rows of casks are used to top up casks of older wines stored below in order to produce a consistently aged blend. Now, replace the words sherry and wine with beer and you’ve got American Solera, a creative craft brewery specializing in the oak barrel aging process. Most of our beers are aged 6 to 18 months prior to bottling. Giving each beer its own unique flavor profile. And with a cellar of 16 foeders, puncheons, and wine barrels the possibilities are endless.”
We will be tapping two of their beers and offering pours of a few of the 6 bottles we will have available to purchase. Bottles can be enjoyed here or you can take them home. Here is the lineup:
Grisettastone – Dry hopped Grisette (also in bottles)
Foederville – Oak aged sour dry hopped with Hallertau Blanc
Foeder Cerise – Sour golden ale brewed w/brettanomyces and different souring cultures. Aged 6 months on Montmorency Cherries
Raspbarrel – Sour ale aged on whole raspberries
AmSo Dry – A Blend of 2 year old Spontaneous Beer
Interplanetary Good Vibe Zone – Foeder Gold Aged in Sauvignon Blanc Barrels
Ryemera – Kvass style beer brewed w/rye bread and caraway seed
Have limited amounts of each bottle, so be early if hoping to take some home! One bottle per person, per offering.
