Lambic Style Night

March 13 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us as we celebrate the great Belgian unique style of beers call Lambic. These beers are made with wild yeast from the air, which provide funky, interesting flavors to the beer after being aged in barrels and then blended. Many would say it is an acquired “taste”, but once you do, it becomes an obsession.
The most renowned Lambic makers in Belgium are 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣 and 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙣. We will be offering limited small pours of two of them: Cantillon 𝘙𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘴, a blend of lambics with raspberries, and 3 Fonteinen 𝘖𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘎𝘦𝘶𝘻𝘦, a blend of 1,2 and 3-year old lambic. We will also be offering some of the Lambics for purchase.
In the US, one of the most respected breweries to make this style of beer is 𝙙𝙚 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜. Located on the Oregon coast, de Garde is dedicated to unique offerings and draws on historic traditions and local experimentation. On this night, we will be tapping one of their beers, 𝘉𝘶𝘝𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘹, a spontaneous wild ale aged in oak barrels for two years. We will also have some bottles on hand for purchase of this beer and 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘶, a four-year blend of spontaneously fermented and aged barrels.
We hope you will join us to enjoy these unique beers and tradition.
